I started exploring Streamload
, after i heard an interesting podcast about it on IT conversations.
Streamload allows you to store any amount of data on the net. That is where your CDs and videos will end up. I am also exploring it for automatic backup.
The interesting bit is its business model: you only pay for downloads, storage is unlimited. Compare this to flickr, where you only pay for uploads!
Other potentially interesting features are: conversion to other sound and image formats, and you can backup entire websites.
